OYO Las Vegas Sportsbook Review
OYO Las Vegas is generally regarded as one of the more budget-oriented properties near the Strip, without the upscale positioning of many of the larger casino resorts in the area. The sportsbook, however, is a pleasant surprise. While it is not particularly large or elaborate, it offers a comfortable and casual environment with a good mix of seating, multiple screens, and a connected bar.
Seating & Layout
The sportsbook offers a variety of seating, including several couches, individual lounge chairs, and a couple of high-top tables with chairs. There is enough seating to accommodate a decent number of guests without making the space feel overly crowded.
Two pool tables add another recreational element and give the sportsbook a casual lounge atmosphere. The setup is primarily geared toward general sports bettors and game watching rather than horse racing, as there is no dedicated desk or workstation area for race bettors.
Screens & Visuals
The main screens provide a solid viewing experience without being the centerpiece of the sportsbook. They appear to use a projection-style setup and are supported by additional televisions positioned throughout the room.
The screen package is perfectly adequate for following multiple games, although it does not have the large LED video walls or cutting-edge technology found at some of Las Vegas’ premier sportsbooks.
Food & Beverage Options
A bar is directly connected to the sportsbook, providing convenient access to drinks while watching the games. There are also food options nearby within the casino, including Steak ‘n Shake, making it easy to grab something to eat without leaving the property.
Reservations / VIP Information
OYO does not currently offer sportsbook reservations through its website. Guests who want to reserve seating can contact the hotel directly to inquire about availability. This would be most useful during major sporting events when seating demand is higher.
Other Notable Features
The two pool tables are a nice addition and help give the sportsbook a relaxed, casual feel. The combination of lounge seating, bar access, and recreational amenities makes this more than simply a place to walk in, place a wager, and leave.
Its location just off the Strip also makes it relatively convenient for visitors who want to stay close to the main resort corridor without being directly on the Strip.
Conclusion / Overall Impression
The OYO sportsbook does not compete with Las Vegas’ premier sportsbooks in terms of size, technology, or luxury, but it provides a comfortable and enjoyable setting for casual sports betting and game watching. Given their less than stellar reputation, the sportsbook is surprisingly decent.
