The PGA Tour is the highest level of competition in men’s professional golf. The PGA Tour regular season includes 45+ tournaments from January through December.
PGA Tour Majors
There are four major PGA Tour tournaments each year. This includes the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, The Open Championship, and U.S. Open Championship.
FedExCup Championship (Playoffs)
The FedExCup is a season-long points competition culminating with the FedExCup Playoffs, a season-ending championship tournament (series of three events) to determine the FedExCup Champion. Playoff eligibility is reserved for the top 125 players in the FedExCup standings with a progressive cut for the three events going from 125 to 70 to 30.
The TOUR Championship
The FedExCup Playoffs finale (the TOUR Championship) features a staggered, strokes-based system. This system represents the final FedExCup standings and recognizes player performance in both the regular season as well as the first two FedExCup Playoffs events.
