The ATP Tour is the highest level of competition in men’s professional tennis. The ATP Tour features 45+ tournaments globally from January through December.
Grand Slam Tournaments
There are four ATP Tour major tournaments each year making up the men’s Grand Slam. This includes the Australian Open, French Open (Roland Garros), Wimbledon, and US Open.
ATP Finals (Playoffs)
The ATP Finals, sometimes referred to as “the fifth grand slam”, is the season-ending championships of the ATP Tour. This features the top eight singles players and doubles teams based on ATP Tour’s official rankings.
ATP Tour Masters 1000
ATP Tour Masters 1000 is a series of nine tennis tournaments across Europe, North America, and Asia featuring the top-ranked ATP Tour players. These are the most prestigious after the four Grand Slams.
ATP Tour 500 & 250
ATP Tour 500 is the fourth highest tier of annual men’s tennis tournament (after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, and Masters 1000). ATP Tour 250 is the lowest tier of tournaments on the main ATP Tour.
