A Square Bettor

About A Square Bettor

I’m the guy behind Square Bettor. I’m a sports bettor, which means I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time researching games, looking at betting numbers, reading articles, listening to podcasts, scrolling through X, and convincing myself that I’ve finally figured something out. Sometimes I’m right. A lot of the time I’m not. I’ve had plenty of good bets lose, plenty of bad bets win, and more than a few parlays that made it all the way to the last game before completely screwing me. That’s sports betting. I still love it. What I’ve always hated, though, is how much work it can be just to find the information you want. You end up Googling the same things over and over, jumping from site to site, trying to remember where you saw that one stat or found that one podcast or beat writer who actually knows what they’re talking about. Square Bettor started because I wanted an easier way to do all of that. I started putting together team pages with the betting data, news, podcasts, newsletters, X accounts, and other resources I thought were worth having in one place. Then I kept building. And building. Eventually it turned into a much bigger site covering hundreds of teams across professional and college sports. I write some of the content here, I review sportsbooks and casinos, and I’m always looking for new sources that might actually help someone do better research. I’m not a tout and I’m not going to tell you I have some secret system for beating the sportsbooks. I’m a regular bettor who likes sports, likes doing the research, and has probably spent way too much time thinking about where to find a good number. I built Square Bettor for people like me who want to do their own homework before putting their money down. I also wanted it to be a little different from most sports betting sites. There are no endless pop-ups, no bullshit promises about guaranteed winners, and no wall of ads every time you try to read something. Just a place where you can find some useful information and get on with your research. I’ve put a lot of time into building this thing, and I hope it saves you some of the time I wasted figuring all of this out myself. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with your bets.
