Jeremiah Smith – Ohio State Buckeyes

Jeremiah Smith enters 2026 as the clear favorite after two dominant seasons that produced 163 receptions, 2,558 yards, and 27 touchdowns. A unanimous All-American in 2025 with another 1,243-yard, 12-touchdown campaign, Smith combines size, speed, and contested-catch ability that makes him the most complete receiver in the country and the player to beat for the Biletnikoff Award.

Malachi Toney – Miami Hurricanes

Malachi Toney exploded onto the national scene as a true freshman with a program-record 109 receptions for 1,211 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning ACC Rookie of the Year and All-America recognition. His combination of production, yards after catch, and all-purpose ability (including returns and gadget plays) positions him as one of the most dynamic and high-upside receivers in the country for 2026.

Cam Coleman – Texas Longhorns

Cam Coleman arrives at Texas with elite pedigree and the physical tools to immediately become a primary target in a high-powered offense. With the size, speed, and route-running ability of a true No. 1 receiver, Coleman has the opportunity to put up big numbers in the SEC and establish himself among the top Biletnikoff contenders in his first season with the Longhorns.

Duce Robinson – Florida State Seminoles

Duce Robinson returns as one of the more physically imposing receivers in the ACC, with the size-speed combination and contested-catch skills that create mismatches. Fred Biletnikoff Award

The Fred Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the outstanding receiver in NCAA Division I FBS football (any player who catches a forward pass, regardless of position). The process begins with a preseason watch list that can expand during the season based on actual performance. A National Selection Committee of more than 600 media members, analysts, former winners, and receivers then votes to select the semifinalists (typically announced in mid-November). That same committee votes again to narrow the field to three finalists, followed by a final ballot to determine the winner. A fan vote counts as one official ballot at each stage. The recipient is announced during the College Football Awards show in December.
